What You'll Do:
As a Tree Climber at TreeWorks, you’ll be the person others look up to—literally and professionally. You'll scale trees using industry-best rope and harness techniques to perform precision pruning, removals, and health assessments. You'll be a vital part of our mission to protect and enhance the urban and natural forest.

Your Daily Adventure:

• Climb and work in trees using professional rigging and climbing systems
• Trim, prune, and remove trees with technical skill and attention to safety
• Assess tree health and recommend appropriate care actions
• Collaborate with ground crews for efficient workflow and safety
• Maintain climbing gear, saws, and personal protective equipment
• Provide input and communicate clearly with your team and leadership

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a professional tree climber
• Expertise in rope/harness techniques and safe rigging practices
• Familiarity with tree species, pruning methods, and hazard recognition
• Physical readiness to work at heights and in variable weather
• A safety-first mindset and a passion for nature and arboriculture
• Great communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Arborist (strongly preferred)
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Professional references required
